What is Naperthrill?
Naperthrill is a weekly email about Naperville and the western Chicago suburbs. Each issue picks the best things to do that weekend, what just opened, and the few local things worth knowing. It skips the news you already get elsewhere.
When does it come out?
Every Friday morning at 8 a.m. Central, in time to plan the weekend. Each issue covers that Friday through the next Thursday.
Which towns does it cover?
Everything within about 10 miles of downtown Naperville: Naperville, Aurora (Naperville side), Lisle, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Warrenville, Downers Grove, Bolingbrook, Plainfield, Woodridge, Western Springs.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Naperthrill is free. Sign up with your email on the home page.
What kind of things are in an issue?
Festivals, concerts, markets, library and park district events worth leaving the house for, restaurant and shop openings, and seasonal things like pumpkin patches and holiday lights. Each event lists the date, time, place, and cost, with a link to the source.
What does Naperthrill leave out?
Crime, politics, real-estate sales, and pop culture. It never runs a negative story about a named local business.
How do I get my event or business into Naperthrill?
Send it through the tip form at https://www.naperthrill.co/submit. Include the date, the place, and a link. Nobody pays to be included.
